Viva La Paris!

Well...guess who's going to Paris, France this Auguest? ME! Oui, I'll be in Paris for a week with my family, and I promise you, it will be one of the most awesome experiances in my life. Yeah, I might have to go on a plane (which I'm terrified about), but for Paris, I'll do it. I'm so excited!

Now that's out in the open, here's what else I want you to know:

Gym Class Heroes- ever heard of them? NO? Well, they are really cool, and speaking as a person just learing about them, I think they're groovy. (I'm living very hippie today). Rap with some punk with some cool beats...it's crazy, and I like it. Here's this new video I saw about Myspace (Adam's new friend! Don't go on it; parents will disown me) called "New Friend Request". Adam, if you need friends, put them on; they'll accept anyone!

Daniel Bedingfield- Yep, Natasha's brother. We all love her, but you can't forget the one who came to the States first. Small story: the first time I heard "Gotta Get Thru This", I thought he was a girl. I mean, a falseto like that, and you would think that too. Also, I thought the DJ truly meant to say 'Danielle' insted of 'Daniel'. Then I saw the video and it was totally a guy singing that...and I like dit! With that said, I'm happy he's still rocking, even though it's not in the states. Hopfully, Natasha will throw him a bone and give him some help crossing over again. What are family for....besides mooching off them and tormenting them? lol Well, here's the song "Friday" from the first album whic was released in Europe only. It's a little crazy, but hey, the song is awesome!

Cobra Starship- That 'Snakes On A Plane" movie might suck, but this song is awesome. Mix cool people (all the lead singers from The Acadamy Is..., The Sounds, Midtown and Gym Class Heroes...see the connection??) with cool music(Love the beat), and it's all good! I mean, you might already love it, but just in case, I have no choice but to hook you in!

Bordiecasts- What? Apparently bands have message boards on their web sites (Fall Out Boy for example) and these kids are pretty proud of their bands...and a little crazy. Sounds a bit like me, right? Well...I haven't joined one yet, just because I'm werid and I don't know if it's free. I asked on The-N about this boardie thing, and one of them said that it's free (at least for her band, AFI), so I'll let you know if I even join up one...as soon as I find one. With that said, I want to show one episode of a boardiecast for FOB fankids. He does a nice job. I might even do one of those one day...when I join a board...and get a video camera. Which band should I do? lol

Ta-ta, moi amies. XD

One Year Ago Today...

I blogged to all of you! Yep, it's my 1-year celebration! YAY. You've been with me through boy issues, concerts, friend talk, and interesting things that only cool people would know about. Sadly, this celebration has been soiled by one of the worst news ever. It even kills me to type this, but it's true. It seems that Kevin from BSB i leaving the group. When hearing about this, I almost cried. In fact, I did cry a little after it all sank in. I thought it was a cruel joke, but it's true, and I hate it! You already know my place in this: whatever is good for him, I'm fine, and if it means he has to leave the group I love so much, so be it. Still, I'm worried about the future. Will the others go on, or is it over completly? That's what scares me. It's going to take me a long while to deal with this, so don't blame me if I don't do stuff I'm supposed to...like read Adam's story (which I will, don't worry). I'm bidding my time right now with listening to Coldplay on a loop for the past few days; just recently I decided to put TCF and FOB to the mix...just to pep me up a bit. It's working a bit, but I'm still hurting.

Let me try to put the mood back up, by putting on the only show that could help through anything- RFR! This was the first episode I watched that started my love affire with RFR...and Robbie. *sigh*

Yeah...that does make me feel better a little more. I do need more...so here's another good episode- "I Am Question Mark". Good TV, I say.

Here are my saviors from utter pain and more tears...Coldplay's 'What If'.

Well...that's all. Here's to another year of insanity, fun, truth, and most importantly, me just being me. See you later!

More stuff to discuss...and stuff.

We all know Jake, right? Well, he's my new leading man. I know...dreams may come true!

Anyone watched "Punk'd" this week? Yep, Eric got punk'd...by his own friends! You would never do that to me, or anyone else, right? *eyes Adam* RIGHT? I didn't see the whole episode, but his reaction was...so cute! Sorry, you forgot....I like him...a lot. Then again, Nick's reaction was so cute, even thought he was in on it to punk Tommy Lee...long story. Here's the deal....watch it for me, and tell me what happened. I mean, I"m so much of a wimp, I'm givng you the video, and not watching myself. I'm a LOSER like that.

Here's another video for you, by Zero 7. I put this on when I'm all romantic, or when I'm down. When I was a total mess in 8th grade, I had this song for a full hour in my cd player, crying. I don't know....but I guess it helped me feel better. Here's "Destiny".

If that's not good for you, I don't know what is. Oh...uh, "American Idol" anyone? Yep, Kat vs. Taylor...when it really should be Chris and Paris. I'm a little bitter. Still...Kat's a little too Broadway for me, so I'm on Taylor's team.

The Concert Roundup

I know, I know...I rock.I go to concerts, and fawn over the stars. I find out about new artists, and get to know the ones I like a little better. Life is good. With that said, I want to go to another one! I'm trying to go to Kelly Clarkson next, but it's in Long Island, so that might be a problem. I wanted to see Panic!...but Brent got kicked out/left the group, so I'm slightly saying no...My best hope is this radio concert, Zootopia...all the best artists...hopefully, no one I hate (besides Chris Brown, since I'm so taking my best friend who loves him with me) will be there. I'm really hoping Ashley Parker Angel will be there...love the new album. Get it...now. I mean, you though "Let U Go" was good? The whole album has future singles...you could hear a bunch of these on the radio. Sorry...I just love it. I'll find one...and you can bet I'll give you updates on the hotness you missed. XD And now...music for the masses!

First...English love, straight from three awesome acts- Coldplay, Jamie Cullum, and Corrine Baily Rae. Coldplay first...since they RULE. This is their new video for "The Hardest Part". It's funny and really weird...trust me. Personally...I wanted "X&Y" to be the next single...but, I wanted "Climbing the Walls" and "Pop Princess" to be the next singles for BSB and TCF, but "I Still" and "Say Goodnight"
is swell. XD

Then there's Jamie....I love him...you should too. XD Here's "Mind Trick", live and in effect. I REALLY want to see him live...Jamie, come to NY-NOW!

Corrine Baliey Rae is a new soul singer from the UK, and she puts a lot of our US girls to shame! Talented, much? Here's "Put Your Records On", the next song I WILL get on my iPod. XD If only she came over to the US and did stuff here...I'll be a supporter.

Yeah, another Click Five video...but it's a good one, because this one has their cover of "I Think We're Alone Now" on it, which is not on iTunes, or on the record itself. You can only get it in the Far East...lucky girls. Tons of Eric in this one...that makes me REALLY happy. Smart girl who made this one. (This does not mean I don't like everyone else...you know I love everyone else! I'm equal! Plus, a cool shot of the two J's ((Joey, and Joe, if you're Adam! lol)) are in it, and that makes me happy too. XD)

Yep, a BSB moment had to come in here...another reason why I love them- They are SUPER funny.

You just had to laugh, right? Laugh!!! Now, if you need me, I'll be studying for my SAT's...crap. :-(

Rock on, my dears!

Concert Hangover...part 2.

Oh, yeah, kiddies! I've got the hangover (although not as bad) and it rocks! In case you just joined us, I went to the Click Five/Big City Rock show in NY on Sunday. It was AWESOME. How so? I'm going to tell you. After getting the tickets as a surprise by my family, I begged for someone to go with me. My friends either couldn't go, or wasn't really there to ever ask them. My brother refused flat out, and it was just left to my parents to figure out who should roll with me. They were still talking about it while we were in front of Irving Plaza, where the concert was going to happen. They let me go to the line while they got film for the camera since our digital one was...crap.

I went in without them, cell in hand, just in case they called. The place was so cool, with chanderliers and it was golden inside. I made my way into the stage area, where there was no seats. AT ALL. First off, the place was small, so everyone who came in first got really close to the stage. I was in the front-ish middle, so it was all good. While I was waiting, there was these group of girls who asked to take their picture, which I did. The flash surprised all of us, into bursts of laughter. Soon, we were all talking and decided to let me hang with them, since I was alone. Soon, my mom came...to give me the camera, then left! Moms are sneaky...but good, since I could let loose. Now that the parent escort was gone, we were talking about the concert, the boys, and how much we loved them. They were from Rye...upstate chicks, and they were uber-hyper. Kinda like me, eh? I do have a magnetic personality, you know.

So, there we were, the place filling up like crazy. There were even BOYS there! Seriously...boys. WOW. We were watching this movie on the projecter they put out while we were waiting (dude...so werid...) when I heard a scream. Then there was a bunch of them. Turning to my new-found group, I asked what was up. They had no clue, except to look up, since that was what everyone else was doing. I saw nothing but a little tuff of hair, so I shrugged and thought noting of it. Then, they screamed again, so looking up I saw it was Ben. Freaking out, I took pictures. I had to...it's me, remenber? Then, it got worse once Eric popped up there. More screaming. They were hours away from performing, and I was losing my voice already. Thanks, guys. lol. Then...the lights went low., and the movie stopped. Big City Rock was ready to make good on its' name. Good news for them...they did so. Their songs were catchy and fun...just the way I like it. During one song, guess who just wanted to say hi? Ben...again. I guess he really liked us. Then again, he did bring Joey and Eric down with him...so I guess you can say...they all like us! YAY. All in all...BCR truly rocked the crowd. Their fans are crazy...I loved it. Now...we had to wait. An Half-Hour later.... the sounds of helicoppeters came on, getting louder and louder. That's when everyone started to push to get closer to the stage. I held on to one of the girl's bags, and met someone else who was moving up. That made my fangirl friend count to 7, since she had friends too, who were nice as well. Now, the moment was here....they came out in their suited glory! (Black suits with greenish-gray shirts and black ties...hot.) Then, there was, "Good Day" to start it off. "I'll Take My Chances" and "Angel to You (Devil to Me)", making us all go nuts. And now...a cute story. The first time Eric spoke to us fully (like, he wasn't intro-ing a song), he had his ears covered by his fingers, and his tounge out (which made all the girls-including me- swoon), trying to un-deaf himself. He then told us, that if we kept it up, he would totally be deaf since he had nothing in his ears. We screamed louded., knowing he loved it. Then, they went into the acoustic part of the show, sing "Time Machine" and a new song, "Mary Jane." Here's the thing to remenber when I'm telling you this for the rest of the story to make sense. "Mary Jane" is a power ballard in the end, so they go electric later. Here's when the story thickens...

So, I turned around after "Mary Jane" ended to check the time on my cell. I turned back around, and the crowd was screaming. Then I saw what was going on. Eric was hushing the crowd (he was on my side now) and then said the best sentence ever! In a whisper to the mic, and a mischivous grin on his face, he said "Are you ready to go crazy?" Response- YES! The lights went on, and that's when I (along with everyone else, of course) realized something. Um...where's Ethan? I mean, he went poof! Maybe it was supposed to happen this way, so I didn't worry...much. Then, we all learned news, from Eric. He told us that Ethan hit his eye during..."Mary Jane". That song might be sweet, but it's dangerous. With that said, Eric then asked if we would shout out that we loved Ethan. Well...we did. We do love him, you know. That done, the other four went on with "Say Goodnight"...we were singing along, but we were now with worry. We missed him! Then, just in time for "By The Way" and "I Think We're Alone Now", there was the injured, but still smiling Ethan, holding his bass like he was going to use it...and he was! YAY. This will easily go into the solos-

Joey was first, banging those drums like a madman. Girls all over screamed, ans begged to marry him. (Sorry, Liz...lol) Then, there was Ethan, totally winning my "Rock Star" moment award for still rocking out, while being hurt. At least it wasn't his fingers...that would suck more! Then we go to Ben, who killed! I had to bow. I mean...crazy...but I loved it. Then Joe came up, and...went all Hendrix on me, having his guitar behing his back, making me scream louder! I'm a screamer. Eric was last, but not least, singing his little soul out..while we were singing much louder than him. Sorry.

During "Just The Girl", Big City Rock popped up, just to return the favor before, and it was sweet. Soon...the show was going to end...but not without a BANG. Yep, it was "Catch Your Wave" Time. It was simple and nice until the end...then they went nuts! It was all...awesome. Then, after the bow, guess who had school and couldn't get autographs? Me...like I could do it. I would freak.

The show rocked all and all (if only it was longer...but they did have one album...) so, I had to share it. Here's the videos I found from YouTube, that will prove everything I just said.

Told You SO! It rocked...sorry you weren't there. If you were...cool. Yay. I'm happy. Talk to you later...

Rock On!

La la la, la la la, la la la la la, Oh...OH! OH!

So... I got SOS! Yay. Here's the iTunes Update...and it's big!

SOS- Rhianna: Duh. lol
Sugar, We're Goin Down (remix), Dance, Dance (remix), The Music or the Misery, My Heart Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon (Demo)- Fall Out Boy: I've been waiting to spend money on this EP! Now I have it...I"m satified, although I could've gotten "My Heart..." on one of their other albums, but whatever. I'm still cool.
Seven Days Without You- Teddy Geiger: Forget "For You I Will"! This is a better song. Plus, he's from NY, and I represent my state. XD And his eyes are soooo lovely.
Middle of Nowhere- Hot Hot Heat: Proof that Canada is really cool, plus I've been in love with song at first listen. They're an amazing band, and they just make great music.
Everything I"m Not- The Veronicas: Another song to put on my 'I'm so over you' playlist. Plus, they're old enough to date my brother, so that's cool...although Lisa's dating someone I also like, so that leaves Jess, so...cool. Can a girl dream? lol
Hide Away- Rock Kills Kid: I'm jumping on this bandwagon before everyone else will. Good lyrics, nice music...I promise you, you will be hearing about these guys.
Curbside Prophet- Jason Mraz: Again...he rocks.
All of The Above- Big City Rock: Again...fell in love at first listen, and it makes me hyper. It's catchy, and the band seems cool. I'm liking them more and more, for a reason I will tell you about later.
Let U Go- Ashely Parker Angel: Yep, the song I spent my last full doller on instead of being loyal to "SOS", but the song rocks, and so does he. From O-Town to doing music like this...I'm proud.
Bad Day- Daniel Powter: American Idol may be the evil (You got rid of PARIS? People! Well, I have Chris and Taylor to help me....Final 2!) but this song is awesome, and Daniel is a talented dude. And he's from Canada, so he's 10 points more awesome than us.
Steady, As She Goes (Acoustic Version)- The Raconteurs: OK, I bet you don't know them. It's a mix of Jack of the White Stripes (cool band), Brendon Benson (Powerpop indie star from Brooklyn, so I like him!) and two menbers of the Greenhornes (Sorry, don't know them...yet.) and it's fabolous. XD They have the electric orignal, but like "Hide Away", I wanted free stuff. Therefore, there it is. I have indie cred now. lol
Feel Good Inc.- Gorrilaz: Because "Dare" was feeling lonely, I got this song, too.

OK, now...I had my AP test on Friday, and it was hell. So much so, that I deserve something...like a concert. Not any concert...but The Click Five! Yep, my 'rents surprised me with tickets, and I'm soooo happy, but I need someone to go with. I'll find someone, no worries. Anyway, guess who's with them on this tour? Big City Rock...yep, my mind will be blown. Now remenber, I went to see BSB, and I didn't really like TC5 at all. I came out and I was in love with them. Now, since I have BCR's song, I already like them, so I might end up liking them more if the plan works out. And now, to prep us for concert goodness (I'll try to get pics, guys!), here's the lineup...and RFR, because RFR is cool. Really cool.

I was sorta sad that Eric cut his hair a bit...but I'll live. He's still foxy. lol
Yep, my vocab has gotten all 70's and stuff, but he IS a babe. lol

Yeah, it's loud, but the song's good. Plus, I could get it as a ringtone on Mobiezo (I think that's the name) so everyone's happy.

Radio Wars...when I really got into hating Kim's guts. lol

So, that's all for today. Check in on Monday with detailed and hopfully picture filled news on the BCR/TCF concert, which will be a little shorter than my last report on a concert...XD

Rock on.

Quickie!

Can't talk much, so I'll summerize it, dudes. This show has a major vision of My version of TRL (You know, the fanfic?) They have the couch, the tv, and the guests! Yep, another Clike Five one, but this one's good, because it reminds me so much of TRL. They even have two girls, like me and Liz in the story. Sadly, Joey's arms wasn't around us in the fanfic...unless I edit...and you know I will! XD

Again, My vision of TRl...excpet it's in Asia, not NY, or Roscoe. I'll live.

Talk later, gotta do my case study report...

ROCK ON!
